The melt question, answered straight

Cacao butter starts to soften above ordinary room temperature. In warm weather, a bar can arrive softened, or with a light bloom — pale streaks where the butter re-set. Neither affects quality or taste. Let it re-set at room temperature and carry on. This is a whole food with a 24-month ambient shelf life, not a fragile confection.
